Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Pre-Contract Stage
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities as per Architect and/or the Client requirement.
  • Taking measurement from drawings as per international standards.
  • Assist in cost analysis for projects.
  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
  • Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Assist to prepare and analyse costing for tenders.
  • Assist to analyse outcomes and write detailed progress/cost reports.
  • Value the completed works at site or relevant.
  • Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
  • Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Post Contract Stage
  • Attending all Site Meeting on high importance & attending to Clients queries.
  • Commercial and Contractual Management of Contract including BOQs, review of applications for payment based on site visit, progress, variations, claims, etc.
  • Identify the terms and conditions of Contract, interpretation of project specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
  • Generating the potential variations based on addition and omission to the scope of work, alteration to the contract drawings and specifications.
  • Assist the Head of Contracts Management in the preparation and negotiation of change orders and the identification of potential changes (variations). Tracking of the change management control process as instructed by H.O.
  • Collect all relevant data and information to support the claim process.
  • Assisting in Preparation of Financial report to submit to Clients and concerned departments

Education

Work Experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a senior Cost Consultant with a flair for precision in cost planning and estimating, adept in crafting detailed pricing documents. Your expertise will be pivotal in collaborating with top-tier international designers to ensure the seamless fusion of opulence and value in our ultra-luxury residential and hospitality and key projects in UAE and KSA. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects stay on budget and on track. You will be a key point of contact for our clients, providing them with expert cost advice and ensuring their project vision becomes a reality.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Client Collaboration: Attend all client meetings, provide cost advice, and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Cost Management Expertise: Guide the team and prepare bills of quantities, develop cost plans and estimates, and manage all project stages within budget.
  • Contract Administration: Review contractor pricing, negotiate fair contract prices, advise on contract administration, and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
  • Project Oversight: Lead the pre-contracts team, conduct feasibility studies, analyze and manage commercial risks, and oversee project progress.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze cost reports, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide clear and concise reports for a wide audience.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in pre-construction cost management within the construction industry.

  • Must have a thorough understanding of local contracts (FIDIC) and practices.
  • Coordinate the collection of all relevant data and information to support the claimed issues.
